Vision

Young Life is a youth organization founded in the United States in 1941 and in Peru in 1968. With a presence in more than 100 countries around the world and made up of adults who enter the world of young people and want to give them love and hope of life.

Young Life is for all young people, wherever they live or who they are. We work with students from high school to college and have specific ministries aimed at ensuring that each young person has a sense of belonging.

How do we do it

YoungLife begins with caring adults who spend time building authentic friendships with teens – where they are and what they are like. Because their leaders trust them unconditionally, teens begin to see that their lives have value, meaning, and purpose. Younglife offers teens adventure, hospitality and friendship without strings attached.

Wyldlife

In recent decades, the onset of physical and psychological changes have been developing before adolescence proper. In today’s reality, pre-teens have been negatively impacted from an early age by the media, social context, video games, etc.

Since fifth and sixth grade students are still in different stages than high school youth and need different things, we make a subtle delineation between both age groups, always under the same mission.

Younglife

Area of our mission focused on reaching every teenager in our country. With the principle that adolescents don’t care when you know until they know how much you care about them, Young Life Peru leaders demonstrate that they care by going where they are now and believing in who they can be.

It begins with adults who are interested enough about the youth that they go where they, in their territory and their culture, developed bridges of authentic friendships.

Capernaúm

Capernaum is the area of our work that seeks to reach all young people with different abilities in our country, showing them the love of God, the importance they have as his children and the purpose it has for their lives in an environment of friendship, love, care and inclusion. They participate in their own activities and joint activities with the other areas of Young Life.

Younglives

Developing this work in our country is a dream that you can help us achieve.

Young Lives is a Young Life ministry especially for young mothers and their babies. Through traditional Young Life activities such as club, camp, and Campaigners, Young Lives mentors join young mothers in a way that we believe Jesus would do with compassion, support, and hope.

College

Developing this work in our country is a dream that you can help us achieve.

Young Life University is a Young Life program specially designed for university students. Although Young Life has been involved in the lives of college students since the early days of the mission, an organized outreach gospel for college students is relatively new.

Young Life’s mission identifies universities where the ministry can be complementary to the other ministries on the campus. He also wants to identify adults in communities who want to reach students through this way. Young Life University’s leadership includes local adults and older students interested in sharing their faith with others.
